I'm constantly told that I would look "so much prettier" if I wore contacts instead of glasses, to which I always smile my 'polite smile,' and continue on my way. These glasses are such a symbol of my benevolent stubbornness and of my recently acquired skill to do the small things that make me happy.
After wearing glasses for years, I understand what u feel. And although I finally tried that contact lens, I feel something missing without my glasses.

I'm always amazed when total strangers offer unsolicited advice. I think your glasses look great and think it's even greater that you're doing what makes YOU happy. :-)
