What's in My Purse {one never knows}

 NAME:  TRINITY
LOCATION:  MS GULF COAST

My bag is pretty much the family's, in that at least one of them is always asking:  "Hey, could you stick this in your purse?" It's normal to find my husband's phone, or keys, or the kids' favorite toys or lip gloss, or a dozen other items.

Today, I give you all a rare glimpse into said purse.  I know, exciting stuff I'm sure!  We have the following items:  wallet, bracelet
{that I wore to work last Thursday}, Bath & Body Works Lotion, bobby pins, kids' nail polishes, BC Powder {it works!}, and more.  Plus, you may have noticed my new craft punch {arrow} or that I have a 10% off coupon for one of my favorite shops {Mindy Mae's Market}.  I even have a Littlest Pet Shop brochure, highlighted with all the pets my oldest would like {Wasn't that sweet of her....to make sure I knew, lol}

So.....that's it for my purse.  What's in YOURS?

So not into COOKING

Name: Amanda
Location: Jakarta

'First of all.. I apologize because bit late in posting this pic. And even worst, I totally forget about today's theme :'( so I just grab this pic from my file. I don't really like cooking. Not like my mom and my late Nana who LOVES cooking. For me, cooking is quite difficult and taking time to prepare. Slice this.. saute that. Shame on me, but this is me. So.. instead of cooking, I choose baking. Cookies? Cake? Just bring it on. But not cooking please :('

Doing Her Religion .. even in a small spot.

Name : Amanda
Location: Jakarta - Indonesia

"You must be thinking that this wasn't an appropriate place to worshiping your GOD. Maybe you're right. But somehow.. even our boss already provide us with a nice and clean room to do it, me and my friend (in my division) love to pray in our own floor, in that cubicle. This small spot.. hopefully be an entrance gate to reach GOD."

Sneak Peak of a Day JOB

Name: Amanda
Location: Jakarta - Indonesia

"My Cubicle in the morning. Still neat (well at least for me). My cubicle is my 2nd home, so I have feel comfy. That's why I have my Teddy Bear, some books and novel (although I don't have time to read it), and some creativity on my wall. Instead of plain note, I choose scrapbook paper. And of course.. a cup of coffee in the morning."

Challenge - worth it?

Name: Megan
Location: Utah, USA

I chose to share a fun "challenge". This photo can symbolize challenge in many ways. The hike into the waterfall was a challenge in itself. "Dragging" my 8 yr. son along complaining and whining 1/2 of the way was a challenge. Finding a sitter to watch my littlest son who was too young for the hike was a challenge. Getting a bit lost on the way out - challenge. Keeping everyone dry and happy and pushing through - challenge.
Worth it? every minute!!! :)

I CHALLENGE myself

Name: Amanda
Location: Jakarta-Indonesia

"I admitted, I'm not a 'saving' person. It's so hard for me to save some money. Well.. like any other woman, I do like shopping, although I choose to go shop for books or yarn instead of dress or shoes. So with this piggy bank (yeah.. its mickey mouse actually) on my desk at work (I got another one at home), I challenge myself to save some."

As FRIENDS We Grow

Name: Amanda
Location: Cilandak Town Square - Jakarta

"More than a decade has passed since we know each other in High School. For all these years we saw each other grow in many ways. Some grow into a beauty and some.. well maybe not that lucky. And yes, you're right, we rarely see each other now. Family, work, new friends, things that occupied our time. But hey... there's always a slight of moment where we met and have some fun.'

'this fellow here  already accompany me for more than 2 year. Helping me focus in my daily activities. Without it, I'll be 'blind' and 'lost'. I know sometimes I was bad. Like just left this fellow in the bath room or put it under my pillow. So sorry dear friend. I promise I'll be more careful from this moment'

Theme #10: {Reflect} Pororo

Name: Amanda
Location: Jakarta - Indonesia

"For me, 2012 is definitely PORORO year. At first it was only a request from a friend to crocheted a hat for her boy who LOVES Pororo the Penguin. From several trial and error, I finally made it. Finally I've got many orders for this ear-flap. Somehow.. this ear-flap not only became my best seller of this year, it also taught me some lesson. From how to manage boredom (crocheting same project for more than one can drive me crazy) up to time management."

Learning - Theme #7

Name:  Trinity B.
Location:  MS Gulf Coast

Even now, as I approach 40, I am still learning:  who I am, where I'm heading, what I stand forI'm {slowly} learning to take time to enjoy the little things, and to not be in such a rush.  I'm learning to depend more on Him, and have even learned that there's a reason I'm here......a plan.....a purpose.  He's got one, for me..................for you as well.

Theme #7- Learning

Name: Amanda
Location: Tangerang Selatan - Indonesia

'So far, today's theme is one of the hard theme to expressed with a photo. Because just like what Megan has said on her opening, Everyday we have the opportunity to learn something new whether we physically seek it out or we just stumbled upon it.   This year, I learn a lot. Physically, I upgraded my ability in crocheting and start to learn how to knit (you can see it from my photo). But more than that, I learn how to forgive people who hurt me deep. What they did was hurting me a lot, scares me to death even makes me questioning myself. And after struggling for couple of years, I can finally forgive them. Along with that, I found my way to move on and be grateful with what already happen, with what I have now. It's not an easy thing to do. But I can surely say that It's worth every tears and effort.'

Theme #6 - A memory

                                           Name: Alisha, Location: Bairnsdale, Australia

A great memory i love, is when my husband and I travelled to China 2 years ago.
On this particular day we were driving through the mountains to go see The Great Wall. As soon as i got a glimpse of it i felt overwhelmed, tears in my eyes, but tears of joy to be seeing this amazing part of history.

A Memory of Olives

Name: Annette
 Location: Kuwait

As I prepared Thanksgiving dinner this year, I was overwhelmed by a memory of my grandmother as I dished out olives onto our relish tray. Grandma's contribution to our feasts was always a relish tray, full of carrots, radishes and celery in addition to a dish consisting of green and black olives. My siblings and I would descend on the dish of olives as soon as Grandma arrived, to the extent she had to bring an extra jar of both to refill the dish before dinnertime. When she passed away in 1999, I found I couldn't bring myself to eat olives anymore. This was the first year I have had olives at our Thanksgiving, the first year that I was able to speak to my children about their great-grandmother and her contribution to our dinner. But, I'm not sure the taste will ever be quite the same.

Theme #6 - Memory of a Family

Name: Amanda
Location: Tangerang Selatan - Indonesia

"It was an old photo which was taken on my mom's cousin's wedding. The only photo left which shows me that I had a complete family once. Now... my parents already separated while my Nana already past away. I never regret what already happened to my family. But I had to admitted that sometimes, I do missed those happy moment where I have my parent living together under the same roof. I do missed my Late Grandma's wisdom and her delicious food. Yes I do miss those moments. But life must go on. Right?"
